USB-2 Self Contained Temperature/Humidity/Dew Point Data Logger

The unit is capable of recording relative humidity from 0 to 100%RH, temperature from -31 to +176°F (-35° to +80°C) and calculating dew point temperature from those two values.

Description:
 

This device allows you to monitor temperature fluctuations anywhere with a minimum of fuss. It's a "set and forget" device. When you are ready to get the temperature data it has recorded, simply plug it into the USB port of any PC or laptop. The device is small and lightweight enough to place almost anywhere, and can be included in perishable packaging as proof that the perishables have never exceeded required temperature ranges.

Using the Windows compatible software supplied, the USB-2 can be configured to measure temperatures from -35 to +80°C (-31 to +176°F). User selectable logging intervals from 10 seconds to 12 hours and a memory capacity of more than 16,000 readings (for storage up to 2 years) make this data logger ideal for many temperature dependant industrial and consumer applications. The logger's housing provides an IP67 rated waterproof seal (to 4 feet depth) enabling the product to be used in harsh environments.

The USB-2 has user programmable high and low temperature alarms, which are shown locally by a bright red LED and can be set to remain active once an alarm level has been triggered. Additional green and amber LEDs inform the user of other logger conditions, including memory capacity and battery status. All readings are stored in non-volatile memory ensuring important data is never lost.

Simply plug the USB-2 into any available USB socket on a PC for instant download and graphing of logged data. Once the data has been downloaded, the logger can be instantly reconfigured to begin the next application.

The data is saved in comma delimited format with date/time stamps for easy import into other spreadsheet, database, and graphing applications.

The EL-USB-CASE is a rugged metal case that provides additional waterproof protection for the EL-USB-1 and EL-USB-2* data loggers. The allows the data logger to record temperatures in particularly harsh environments.
