Each includes an innovative integrated
sensor suite which combines rain collector, temperature and humidity sensors,
and anemometer all into one package, making setup easier than ever and improving
performance and reliability. The entire Sensor
suite is solar powered. Transmitter and battery are located inside the infrared
radiation shield to ensure accurate temperature measurements. The console may be
powered using the included AC-power adapter or with three C batteries (Yes!
batteries ARE included). |

The Anemometer is detachable for ultimate flexibility--mount with integrated sensor
suite as shown, or mount separately using the included 40' (12 m) cable. Or,
with Wireless Vantage Pro, add an Anemometer Transmitter Kit to transmit data directly
to the console.
The Rain collector with self-emptying tipping bucket is exceptionally accurate.
Read rainfall amounts in 0.01" or 0.25mm increments.
The wireless integrated sensor suite runs on solar power! The solar cell
provides enough power to run the entire outside station with as little as one hour of
sunlight a day.
Temperature and humidity sensors are located inside the radiation shield (the louvered
box) The shield protects the sensors from solar radiation and other sources of
radiated and reflected heat.
An optional tripod (see info at www.weathershop.com
) makes installation even easier. Brackets at the base of legs tilt to mount on
roof or uneven terrain.
