Brass-cased instrument with a "brain" to record changes and trends as well as present conditions. Digital readings given in four modes. ‘Present’ displays existing wind conditions. ‘Peak’ gives speed and direction of highest gust since last reset. ‘Average’ reveals average wind speed and direction since last reset. ‘Forecast’ compares most recent 12-minute average with previous 12 minutes. Allows you to see trends and changes in wind conditions. Can interface with Mystic (right) to compute wind-chill. Memory is protected by 15-hour backup. Cables, AC adapter, sensors and hardware supplied. Black dial.	Digitally displays both barometric pressure and temperature in four different modes: Present, High, Low, and "Rate of Change’ for barometric pressure, which shows the amount of change in inches per hour. When connected to Merlin (left), The "Wind Chill’ setting will show the effect of wind speed on temperature. Mystic is protected by a 15-hour backup to handle power outages and preserve data. Cable, AC adapter, sensors and hardware supplied. Specify altitude if above 3000’. Black dial.	An attractive companion to any station (digital or analog). Displays either long or short term rainfall with the flip of a switch. Select the length of time for each "counter" with the reset switch, to collect annual rainfall in one memory, weekly or daily rainfall in the other. LED displays rainfall from .01" to 99.99" with an inch/cm conversion chart. A 9V battery will collect and maintain data for up to 1 week in case of power failure. Outside collector meets NWS specifications for size and accuracy, and is self-emptying for your convenience. RainWatch is also compatible with most other rainfall collectors. Maximum, Inc. warrants the weather instruments it manufactures to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for five years from the date of original purchase. This warranty does not cover damages due to improper installation or use, lightning, or damage attributable to unauthorized service. Nor does this warranty apply if any seal on any instrument is broken. Any defective weather instrument returned to Maximum during the warranty period will be repaired or replaced, at the option of Maximum, free of charge.
